I've thought about creating just a stand alone tribute campaign since we only get a few dozen per year. Then use the P2P section in it to create smaller spin offs for groups to host a memorial page. Just haven't executed it yet.

Copying over feedback from Rick Jones:
Many of the donations to our organization are deductions or tributes (in honor or memory). We’d love to start using the GiveLively checkout, but the dedication only allows the collection of the dedicatee’s name and an email address for notification of the gift.
Typically, our donors only have a dedicatee name and maybe a notification mailing address. Our organization prefers to take care of notifications to the appropriate person(s). We’re not sure how many donors wouldn’t know a proper notification email address, but we assume it will be a significant percentage.
Ideally, we’d like to present the donor with an either, neither, or both option (mailing and/or email).

It would be nice for donors to elect to send a physical notice for a dedication gift (In Honor or In Memory) instead of just a digital one that's emailed. Not every grandmother has email. We would like the option to send a card on the donor's behalf to acknowledge a memorial gift.

Agreed this is a missing feature and vital to our donors. We have had an issue with this. People don't feel like their dedication is properly being acknowledged.

This is critical missing functionality for us. We have 5 gifts that were memorials this year and have not been able to notify families where gifts were made as we do not have them in our database already or have any contact information.

We often send memorial gift letters to the deceased family members as often times, the donors do not have family members' email address. It's very important to recognize these gifts for the donors as well as the family members of honorees.
