Users currently have the ability to create and ask ONE custom question and capture mailing address. Members can get access by reaching out to support@givelively.org.

I see this is possible for events, is it possible for Campaigns as well? Thanks!

My organization needs the ability to add more than one custom field + mailing address. We currently use mailing address as part of the checkout process and after checkout have a text field "what inspired you to give? and please share if there's anything we should know about your gift" in case the donor wants to restrict their gift. We would like to add a "subscribe to our newsletter" checkbox. Agree with Nicole Alter below, all those would be good options to have.

Lisa Sandoval: we're about to close this post, so would you mind giving this comment a bump and perhaps copying your comment: https://givelively.canny.io/campaign-pages/p/allow-multiple-custom-questions

Posting on behalf of Local Initiatives Support Corporation, who are requesting a minimum of 3 custom question fields to ask "how did you hear about us, which program do you want to donate to, and do you want to opt into the newsletter?"

Lucy Sweeney: Yes, as you can see in Sammy's post above, please feel free to reach out to support@givelively.org and ask to enable the Custom Questions field in your account.

Could this functionality be added to the Donation Widgets as well? We currently use the Simple Donation Widget, and it would be greatly appreciated!

Let me know if this should be a separate question, but it seems relevant: We have mailing address fields enabled and I'm finding that when users pay using PayPal, we often don't get a mailing address, even when I look them up on PayPal. Is Give Lively working on addressing that? Is there a fix my org could try out?
Thank you! I hope you all are well.

Sammy Vo Why is this restricted to one custom question? I know our client would have defintely wanted the opportunity to ask a few. Also would be nice if we could add a question on evergreen primary donation page with a picklist where donor could designate which campaign/program the donation should be directed. This would allow donations from the main giving page to be directed towards specific campaigns. We'd need to then sync these to Salesforce but given the campaigns from GL sync to Salesforce, this should occur.

Jessica Rosenberg: Hi Jessica, hope you're well! Our team is definitely exploring the ability to ask multiple custom questions, as well as different 'types' of custom questions (such as the designation picklist you described). We don't currently have a date for when this will be released, however we do have wireframes of the proposed user interface in the nonprofit admin portal--if you're open to it, can I email you to get your feedback on them? Thanks!

Matt Connelly: I'd love to review. Thank you for the opportunity!

Matt Connelly: Hi Matt, my organization would also really appreciate being a part of the trial phase of this feature. We are working on our online donation process this season and I would hate to lose all the learning I've done around the Give Lively platform if we can't achieve some of these basic things; my staff may push ultimately to go with another provider, if not, but I really want to make it work with Give Lively!

Nick Farano: Thanks for the feedback! We've enabled these new fields in your accounts if you want to check it out.

Sammy Vo: I noticed that the optional sentence below the question itself is not actually appearing on my check-out flow. Can you please help correct this?
Sammy Vo
Hi Jacqueline Salzinger! Hope all is well. We're in the process of improving the custom question beta feature and at the moment, the optional 'help text' does not appear publically. Apologies for the inconvenience and we'll be sure to announce when this has been resolved.

Sammy Vo: Hi Sammy, are there any updates on this? We're in the middle of a review of web content at my org and it would be great for me to address this internally ASAP as otherwise we will need to innovate a solution on our own.
Sammy Vo
Hi Jacqueline Salzinger, we're still actively working on resolving this bug. No timelines to share yet but as soon as it's been fixed, I will certainly let you know!

Sammy Vo: Hi Sammy, are there any further updates on the "help text" appearing as it's supposed to? Hoping to incorporate the GL widget into my web dev project this summer, but this is an essential component for us.
