Preferred Name Field for Recognition

It would awesome to have a field for people to specify what name they would like to be recognized by rather than defaulting to the name on their credit card as that, a lot of times, differs. Is this possible?

I recently had a donor request their husband be included in all of their donation acknowledgements, as it is very important to her. Please make this a feature!

Yes. We have so much trouble connecting gifts to couples, etc when we only have the credit card name (some may use a small business card, etc) Or donors use nicknames or middle names). This would be valuable and help keep the donor in control of how they are recognized.

Agree, this would be super helpful. Would allow donors to add a partner name too, which is important information that isn't currently included in the checkout process.
