Allow purchase of tickets on behalf of others, and provide ability to collect contact information of those guests. Basically, if someone is buying multiple tickets to an event there isn’t any place to list their guest names so many people remain unknown to us. There is a text box with limited characters that can be made available at checkout, and I do use that when possible, but it still misses getting the email addresses of guests. This is especially important for us to be able to send out event reminders, and gather important event information like dietary restrictions.
This is an issue that I think is particularly challenging because in the past many donors purchase a set of tickets that they then give to their friends, and we have no way of getting in contact with them to send reminders about the event. We should be able to gather the full name and email address of people attending our event. We envision optional fields that pop up when someone purchases multiple tickets, which ask for this information.
