A fix has been made to the estimated fee checkbox on the Giving Basket checkout flow for donors paying via ACH.
The checkbox allows for Giving Basket donors to add a designated amount to their donation to cover payment processing fees so that the nonprofits in your basket will receive the full donation.
The calculation had been accurately based on the 0.8% fee for all ACH donations, but did not factor in the $5 cap across the entire Giving Basket order (which could include multiple donations). This cap is now in place. This reinforces the value of donating via ACH, since it incurs the lowest third-party fees of any payment method.
