Make the donor portal more self-sufficient

Donors should be able to update their personal information like email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses (including for any custom fields we ask of them when they donate) in the donor portal if they choose to create an account.
It would also be great if we on the nonprofit side could both see which of our donors have created accounts, as well as help our donors create an account if they wish.

Amanda Liaw thanks for all of your feedback. You might be happy to know that we recently made changes to the donor portal that now allow the donor to make changes to their name, email, and password themselves:

I should note that the custom question and the mailing address field are both technically beta features that have not been fully released. Please understand that these features are still in the process of being tested and we might be making improvements to them. The Give Lively portal does not currently default to show the Additional Questions field, and this will be reflected in other areas like the Donor Portal.
