Customize sender address from Give Lively emails
Nicole Alter
The Sheridan Story is requesting the ability to send an email via their own email address instead of hello@givelively.org.

One issue to watch out for is if the email comes from your own domain, it will likely be caught as "spoof" by the receiving email system. Give Lively would need to be included in your organizations Sender Policy Framework (SPF). While this is easy for some, it may not be simple for all organizations.

Yes. This is absolutely true. People often think their donation receipts are from spam. Not acceptable.

Not personalizing the email is the number one complaint I get from my team. We need our supporters to recognize immediately that the email is coming from us, otherwise it is likely they will be confused, or just won't open it.

This is EXTREMELY important to our team. We're considering leaving Give Lively over this issue alone. It causes so many issues when those emails aren't coming from a known sender.

Yes! It'd be AMAZING if the auto-generated thank you emails came from the organization's name instead of "Give Lively" to reduce confusion for the donor and improve donor experience.
