We recently did some fundraising for an event, I was disappointed when I realized that one of the donations we received was In Honor of some folks. The issue I had is that there was no notification to us that it was a dedication donation. When we recieve notifications we do not know that we had to look at the donation CSV to find it. Additionally when it posted to our live display or campaign page, it also only listed the donors name and not who they made the donation in honor of. I think this is a real lost opportunity for us as we had no idea based on the information we saw and or received. So when we printed a Thank You to be displayed at the event, we did not know this information to include to the print job. It should be included with the information about them donating (They also should be allowed to leave notes with their donation even if they do not do a donation in honor of someone.
I appreciate the ability to do a donation in honor of someone, but hope you can work towards making it easier for the donor to see that it happened and for us to be able to correctly list it by having notification of it. Thank you!
