If a donor needs a re-send of their acknowledgment email (because maybe it went to Spam, or maybe they deleted it) or in our case, the auditors requested a copy of a large donation receipt, it would be nice to be able to locate the record in the back end and be able to re-generate a copy of the thank you email

Yes! We get this request all the time. I would be great to re-generate the email or something similar.

My idea to cc or bcc another email on all donation receipts is similar. This would solve this problem, too!
