Receipts for recurring tips to GiveLively

It would be great if donors received a monthly receipt from GiveLively for recurring tips. When we sent out end of year tax letters there were a handful of donors who were confused why their bank statements didn't match the tax letters we sent out. After some investigation, I figured out that it was because we don't track GiveLively tips in our CRM; so the donation amount we're logging in is not the amount getting pulled from people's bank accounts. Here's some of the things that came up from those conversations:
- donors didn't realize that the tip was going to GiveLively. They thought it was part of processing fees for their donation.
- processing fees for donations are tax deductible but tips to GiveLively are NOT tax deductible. This was a major pain point for donors who were planning to deduct the full amount of their donation not realizing that the tip wasn't tax deductible.
- monthly donors didn't realize that the GiveLively tip would also be recurring. They thought it would just be a one-time thing.
It would be very helpful if receipts and communications around GiveLively tips were separated from receipts/communications for actual donations. That way the donor is making an informed decision and has all the proper documentation for their records.
