"A bit of feedback: I wasn't able to set mappings prior to that initial sync, so those records came over mapped incorrectly. It's simple to fix - there weren't very many records and they are easy to find and update. But it's a bit of a flaw in the process, having the sync kick off before the mapping is complete"

Syncing will now default to off upon initial connection, allowing administrators are much time as they need to configure mapping and settings before data begins to flow from Give Lively to Salesforce. Syncing can be toggled on and off on the main Salesforce tab of the admin portal.

We are planning to implement a sync on/off toggle in a future update, and to default to off after the initial connection. This would allow administrators to establish the connection and then take whatever time they needed for configuration prior to enabling the sync.
