The Give Lively integration will sometimes fail to sync when Salesforce's State & Country Picklists feature is enabled. It would be nice if synced addresses could be made compatible with existing picklist values.

Unfortunately we have not been able to determine a viable solution to this particular problem. The customizability of State & Country Picklists' data values combined with the inflexibility of its enforcement means we are unable to ensure uninterrupted syncing while the feature is enabled.
