Rose, thank you for your thoughts as well. It's a much larger consideration to split the name field on the donor form into two or more fields, with impacts extending beyond just the Salesforce integration. This is an ongoing discussion internally. If we do end up splitting the field, we'll certainly plan to account for it in sync logic.

Please separate Name into First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name fields, or at least First Name and Last Name. I appreciate you may be using the full name to associate it with the name on the credit card. However, people are entering their middle initial or middle name and that becomes part of their last name when sync'd to Salesforce. We've also had people enter two names in the field, e.g. Jan and Joe Doe. That also creates odd looking Contact names in Salesforce. Thanks for considering this.
