Nonprofit members can start P2P pages on behalf of fundraisers
It seems like many of our members used to create P2P pages on behalf of their donors as a way to making the P2P fundraising process more streamlined for the donor. Since introducing email confirmation for increased security, this is method is not possible. This is a proposal for a feature that would allow for a member nonprofit to securely start a P2P fundraising or team page and allow the designated supporter to manage it. Additionally, this feature could create multiple P2P pages at once with identical logos, descriptions, etc. to streamline the process.
Allow Required/Custom Fields
Our organization needs the ability to capture additional information from donors no matter how they give (whether directly or through a P2P page). It would be helpful if the fields we require on our giving page also transferred over to the P2P fundraisers (since it's the information the organization has already required to give).
Allow fundraisers to download list of their donors
Add names of offline donors to P2P pages
We frequently have donors give to P2P fundraisers through donor advised funds, checks and stocks but cannot add their names to the public donor list on these pages. Admins should be able to manually add and properly recognize these donations on the P2P pages. It's discouraging for someone to give $ and ask to be added to this page only to be told we can't do that. Seems like a missed opportunity for a donation platform.
Notify fundraisers of donations
Notify fundraisers every time a donor makes a donation to their P2P fundraising page.
Notify admin of new P2P fundraisers
Would be helpful to welcome new volunteer fundraisers with a thank-you and helpful information
Customization of P2P pages
More options for branding, photos, story section that's bigger, and ability to use bulleted lists. The pages look a little sad.
Ability to upload documents
A Toolkit is very useful, it should be latch key for the peer to peer constituent. The ability for admin member to upload instruction toolkit, email examples, printable barometers, and logo's for them to use on their created items. Keeps excitement, makes event run smoother, and coaches the easily coachable.
Data integration between platforms.
By the end of our fundraiser I had grown proficient in downloading data from GL and uploading data into LGL. That was fairly simple and would be the sort of thing that could be automated. I also entered offline donations the other way that came through the office in the form of a check, or through the Compact’s general donation button. What I’d like to have is the ability to synch data in both directions. What comes to mind is a dashboard that would display records from both platforms and offer some control over the data sharing.
UI for P2P fundraisers
Top of my wish list is an integration within the form function of LGL that signs a registrant up for a GL P2P page without leaving the registration form, so the creation of the fundraiser page is completely seamless and invisible to the registrant. Is that technically possible? One submit button rules them all? I had many swimmers who were confused by the registration process. Most of them filled out my form, but some went right to the GL fundraiser button bypassing our registration form so I had no data for them. I had participants who could not figure out how to get back to their pages once they made them (more on that below). A direct link, a portal link, to login to the fundraisers P2P page, independent of the campaign widget, that could be positioned on our home page would be clear and welcoming. I had many requests for donor lists. Apparently there is no way for the owner of a P2P page to see all their donors? That seems odd. I don't think there is a way for the page owner to add offline donations, either. I did figure out how to add offline donations to a swimmer page myself, but as per above, there's no search so I had to scroll though many pages to find it first.
